A leading content strategy company in the City of London is seeking an experienced Content Manager to drive their content strategy. The ideal candidate will manage content across various platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure brand consistency. A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in content creation are required. This role is essential for enhancing brand awareness and engagement through compelling content.
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Manager to lead the development, execution, and management of our content strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing compelling content across various platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Develop and oversee the content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals.
Manage editorial calendars and ensure timely content delivery.
Write, edit, and optimize content for various platforms (e.g., website, blog, social media, email, whitepapers, video scripts).
Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, marketers, and other departments to produce high-quality content.
Conduct content audits and update existing content for SEO, accuracy, and relevance.
Monitor content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions) and adjust strategies as needed.
Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
Stay current on content marketing trends and best practices.
Manage a team of writers and freelancers, when applicable.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
35 years of proven experience in content creation, content marketing, or editorial roles.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong understanding of SEO, content analytics, and CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Creative thinker with an eye for detail and brand voice.
Experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Canva/Figma, and project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana).
Experience managing content teams or freelancers.
Knowledge of HTML and basic web publishing.
