Job Title: Lead Project Professional – Delivery

Location: Frimley or Portsmouth Broad Oak. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £50,000 subject to skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring that all aspects of the projects are fully defined to ensure customer requirements are achieved in accordance with all business and commercial criteria
• Developing and maintaining coherent, fully integrated, resourced and workable project plans and budgets in collaboration with the Engineering Managers
• Developing estimates in support of bids, annual budgets, or cost to completion, and evaluate “spend to date” data
• Leading, controlling and monitoring projects to agreed time, cost, and quality requirements, reviewing, and reporting on progress against plan and where necessary, resolving issues which threaten delivery to plan
• Support to production of monthly reports for Management Information
• Risk and Opportunity management using ARM tool

Your skills and experiences:

• Experience of delivering projects within tight timescale in a complex working environment
• Using project management techniques, to enable early identification of problems and implementation of mitigation actions
• Experience of developing customer affinity and maintaining excellent customer relations
• Knowledge of Project Controls including techniques such as EVM

The Dreadnought Combat Systems Engineering Project Management team:

You will have the opportunity to work for a world leading Defence Engineering company supporting the development and build of the latest Dreadnought Class of Submarine. This team supports the requirements specification, design, build and test of the Combat System for that submarine by working closely with engineering teams, providing a professional Project Management service. The team's responsibility includes de-risking and integration of the Combat System on the submarine representative test facility at Frimley prior to delivery to the submarine in build at the shipyard. The environment is dynamic, interesting and provides plenty of scope for personal and professional development with extensive training offered.
