A leading recruitment agency is seeking a specialist in nuclear capability for a hybrid role in Barrow-in-Furness. This position involves complex tasks related to nuclear baseline management and requires significant experience in the nuclear discipline, training, and shipbuilding. The ideal candidate will provide technical advice and guidance, working autonomously within established procedures. Competitive rate of £63.40 per hour offered.
Location: Barrow (Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite week)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Rate: £63.40 per hour umbrella (Inside IR35)
Typically individual contributor roles within Nuclear Discipline, Skills and Capability. Works as part of the Nuclear, Skills and Capability team with a high degree of technical autonomy, within established nuclear procedures and practices. Performs a variety of the most complex tasks around Nuclear Baseline management, Nuclear Training and Nuclear Strategic Workforce management.
Applies knowledge and experience to systems and processes to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems within the area of responsibility of Nuclear Discipline, Skills and Capability. Proposes improvements to nuclear discipline processes and contributes or may act as a lead on technical governance nuclear discipline processes.
Provides specialist nuclear discipline technical advice, training and guidance to other professionals, technical staff and/or customers, particularly Functional Nuclear Capability Teams. Establishes and maintains direct contact and interface with stakeholders in relation to the delivery of nuclear discipline projects.
