Overview

Base Location: Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness. Please note 50% of your working week will be office or site based.

Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to project teams, ensuring efficient management of project finances, meetings, governance milestones, and reporting.

You will
  • Oversee project accounts, including raising purchase orders, ensuring timely supplier payments, and resolving external supplier queries.
  • Coordinate and prepare all project-related meetings - scheduling attendees, ensuring participation, and capturing high-quality minutes.
  • Play an active role in supporting the project team to meet key milestones in line with the LCP Governance Framework and adhere to critical deadlines.
  • Manage the preparation and coordination of project reports and presentation materials, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Provide flexible administrative support for a wide range of project-specific tasks as needed.
You have
  • Proven experience as a Coordinator or Administrator within a project-based environment. Hands-on experience managing project finances and taking accurate minutes is essential.
  • A strong background in managing calendars, organising meetings, and preparing key project documentation.
  • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage challenging deadlines, whether working independently or collaboratively.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Solid experience working with a range of software systems and tools, and the ability to adapt quickly to new platforms.

The successful candidate would be expected to travel between different SSE offices/project sites, with the occasional overnight stay. Therefore, a driving licence is required.
