Location: Based in Crewe, near Woore.

Join a leading manufacturer based near Crewe, UK, delivering high-quality engineered solutions to a wide range of industries. We are seeking a CAD / Project Co-ordinator to strengthen our design and project delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys working on engineering projects from concept through to completion, combining CAD design, procurement, and project coordination.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will be responsible for producing 2D AutoCAD drawings, compiling parts lists, sourcing materials, and supporting the delivery of engineering projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget, working closely with colleagues across design, procurement, and project management. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Support: Create and maintain accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for project requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in managing projects from design to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Procurement: Generate parts lists, source materials and equipment, and liaise with suppliers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and provide updates on project progress.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (essential).
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Confident liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Education and Experience:
  • Experience in a CAD, design, or project coordination role desirable.

Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary from £26,000 – £27,500 depending on experience.
