Join a Landmark Project, Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station
Biffa's Specialist Services Industrial Division has secured the waste management contract for the build of Sizewell C, a major nuclear power station development in Suffolk.
With a projected 9 to 12-year construction period, this high-profile project mirrors our successful work at Hinkley Point C. Operations will eventually move to a purpose-built Waste Consolidation Centre, but initially, our team will manage the contract directly from the client's site, overseeing collections, subcontractors, reporting, invoicing, and waste consultancy.
Your Core Responsibilities.
- Oversee day-to-day administration tasks as directed by the Commercial Manager.
- Lead and manage the performance of the administration team.
- Manage weighbridge operations and produce required reports for clients, contractors, and the company.
- Check and process supplier invoices accurately, maintaining clear records.
- Support the operations team by booking lift requirements when needed.
- Maintain and update customer data on relevant systems, ensuring effective communication across the depot.
- Handle inbound enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer issues are resolved to satisfaction.
- Manage the NNB document control system "Teamcentre" and keep relevant managers informed of changes or updates
Requirements
Our essential requirements.
- Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within logistics or waste management.
- Strong people management and health & safety leadership skills.
- Track record of meeting service delivery KPIs and producing MI reports with trend analysis.
- Knowledge of waste industry laws, environmental and health & safety legislation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and extracting data from BI reports.
- Full driving licence
- IOSH General Certificate (or willingness to achieve)
