Transport Supervisor - Leeds (4 on / 4 off)
Up to 32,000 + Benefits 05:30 - 17:.5 hours per week

We're working with a well-established distribution business that's experiencing significant growth. They're now seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their busy Leeds depot and help ensure smooth and compliant operations.

The Role:
You'll be the driving force behind transport operations, making sure drivers, vehicles, and deliveries run to the highest standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing driver rotas and shift patterns

  • Monitoring routes to meet customer ETAs and company compliance

  • Handling driver and customer queries

  • Conducting investigations, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution

  • Supervising driving and transport office teams

  • Checking vehicles on return for defects or damage

  • Ensuring drivers follow company duties, checks, and uniform policies

  • Maintaining vehicle temperature compliance

  • Sending daily reports to management and responding to customer communications

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a transport environment (essential)

  • Strong knowledge of Working Time Regulations & Drivers Hours legislation

  • Solid geographical knowledge of the UK

  • Ability to work under pressure with changing workloads

  • Confident use of MS Office and transport/logistics software

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels

  • Experience managing investigations and disciplinaries
