Job Description

The Laboratory Operations Manager will oversee technical and personnel aspects of group operations, act as a technical resource, and lead departmental improvements. Responsibilities include coaching staff, planning workflows, monitoring data, and supporting departmental goals while demonstrating leadership qualities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Apply GMP/GLP standards and uphold the highest quality standards
  • Promote company vision and demonstrate strong client service, teamwork, and collaboration
  • Plan and multitask effectively to maximize productivity
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety policies, and regulations
  • Perform laboratory tasks as needed to meet departmental objectives
  • Monitor costs and support safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Leadership of Direct Reports
  • Foster a positive work environment and motivate staff
  • Manage employee performance, conduct reviews, and oversee training
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Address performance issues promptly and develop leadership skills
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field
  • 3+ years GMP laboratory experience
  • Experience managing non-leadership employees
Additional Requirements
  • Experience in medical device CCIT and package testing industry
  • Research study design, SOP creation, and laboratory leadership experience

Additional Information
