A leading healthcare provider in the East Midlands is seeking a Senior Facilities Services Supervisor to oversee Domestic, Portering, and Catering Services across various sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in facilities services, and a background in food safety compliance. Responsibilities include supporting the delivery of high-quality care and managing a diverse team. This role does not meet the pay level for a Skilled Worker visa.
To be responsible for the leadership of Facilities Services: Domestic, Portering Services, and Environmental Coordinators across all activities at John Eastwood Hospice and various sites.
To oversee aspects of catering in the absence of the Catering Supervisor, taking responsibility for leadership within the kitchen, including food management from goods receipt, storage, preparation, production, and service, in line with Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations.
To support the delivery and development of Facilities Services across Nottinghamshire Healthcare's multi-site operations, ensuring standards meet the needs of the service, customers, and the Trust.
To work within all relevant legislative regulations, such as Health & Safety at Work, Food Safety Act 1990, and Food Safety & Hygiene (England) Regulations.
The role requires individuals with specific Facilities Service and supervisory qualifications and experience in leading people and services, ensuring delivery aligns with standards and priorities.
The post holder will support the Facilities Support Services Manager and Supervisors in providing effective services in Catering, Domestic, Portering, and Switchboard, offering leadership, training, and supervision to staff.

Facilities Services are part of the Facilities Directorate within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The Senior Facilities Services Supervisor will be based centrally, with responsibilities across community sites, hospitals, in-patient areas, day centres, health centres, LIFT buildings, and offices.
