Job Description: Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Salary: Negotiable

Purpose of the Role

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead A2Dominion's digital, IT, and data strategy - enabling modern, secure and efficient services across the Group. A strategic and delivery-focused leader, you will drive innovation, oversee digital transformation, and ensure the organisation has the right tools, systems and capabilities to deliver for our residents and stakeholders.

As a member of the Executive Management Team, you will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board - providing insight, challenge and forward-thinking leadership on all things digital. You'll drive smarter, more efficient ways of working - combining innovation with a sharp eye on value for money. With a focus on doing things differently and doing them well, you'll help build a modern, secure and customer-focused organisation. You'll be joining a supportive, ambitious Executive team at a time of change and opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

1. Develop and lead the Group's IT, data and digital transformation strategy to meet current and future business needs.
2. Provide expert guidance to the CEO, Board and Committees on technology, data and digital risk.
3. Embed a digital-first culture across the organisation, ensuring alignment with A2Dominion's mission and values.

Digital Transformation

1. Oversee the design and delivery of modern, user-focused digital platforms for customers and colleagues.
2. Drive business process simplification, automation and cost optimisation.
3. Ensure all systems support our compliance, building safety and data reporting obligations.

Data & Cyber Governance

1. Lead the Group's data strategy - improving data quality, access, security and value.
2. Ensure robust cyber security measures are in place and regularly tested.
3. Oversee business continuity planning and IT risk management.

Operational Leadership

1. Lead and develop a high-performing, inclusive IT and digital team.
2. Manage strategic supplier relationships and outsourced delivery models, ensuring value for money.
3. Build capability across the business to use data and digital tools confidently.

What We're Looking For

Experience

1. Proven IT and digital leadership at a senior level in a large, complex or regulated organisation
2. Successful delivery of organisation-wide digital and data transformation
3. Strong track record in cyber security, data governance and risk
4. Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and third-party suppliers
5. Board-level stakeholder management

Knowledge & Skills

1. In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, service design and technology governance
2. Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to data, systems and risk (housing sector knowledge desirable)
3. Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills

Qualifications

1. Degree or equivalent in IT, business or related field
2. Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CISM, CISSP, ITIL) desirable
3. Evidence of continuous professional development
