In this role you will be responsible for establishing the frameworks and processes that will ensure the smooth and effective running of our school. You'll play a central part in key areas including finance, HR, premises, health & safety, procurement, and administration.

This role is term time only, Monday to Friday on a permanent contract with the school. As this is as permanent role a two stage interview process will be required to shortlist for the role. 35235 to 39513 Salary will be lower due to pro rata hours.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience in school business management or school business support.

• Financial astuteness, exceptional organisational skills, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of HR, finance systems, health & safety, and facilities management, or a clear eagerness to develop expertise in these core areas.

• Confident communication skills, enabling close collaboration with the Headteacher, Governors, wider staff team, parents, and external agencies.

• A positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach to their work.

• A genuine commitment to supporting the vision, values, and success of our school.

• Transferable knowledge from an existing school Business Manager, admin or school office based role.

This is a permanent position for 30 hours per week, spread over 4 days. The start date is 1st September 2025, or later, to accommodate your resignation period.
