Role Description & Responsibilities
Your task as a Senior Software Engineer - GPU will be to accelerate the deployment of multi-GPU simulation solutions, we seek a Senior Software Engineer to join a team that focuses on High Performance Computing, with a specific focus on GPU (graphics processing unit) development for our fluid simulation technology.
Fluids are all around us and within us. Simulation of complex fluid flows is critical to properly design, optimize and manufacture a staggering array of products in every industry. Our goal is to reform engineering processes by unifying design and simulation. For optimal effectiveness, this requires rapid execution of complex simulations enabled by high performance computing and multi-GPU capability.
Qualifications
You will work within a team of world-class software developers to deliver enhancements to world-class software and ensure delivery of a thoroughly validated software enhancements.
The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of C++ and CUDA on Linux, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with modern approaches to high performance computing. Minimum requirements for a senior position include:
• Master's Degree
• 4 to 5 years experience with coding in C++
• 1 to 5 years experience on CUDA
• Experience on Linux
• Experience on MPI
• Experience on High Performance Computing
Helpful Skills
• Experience in commercial or state-of-the-art academic and research CFD software development
• Clear understanding of basic physics in commercial CFD software
• Development using modern tools for source code management and DevOps
• Knowledge of CFD algorithms involving particle-based or continuum approaches to solving fluid flow, preferably the Lattice Boltzmann method
