We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager (Native English Speaker) to join our team here in Berlin!

• Own and evolve the Tandem brand. Tell compelling stories across product and marketing touchpoints.

• Keep the brand book up to date and aligned with our product strategy, ensuring that our visual and written story reflects who we are.

• Partner with our copywriters to craft compelling, story-driven brand messaging that resonates globally and brings our mission to life.

• Design and execute A/B tests and user surveys to continuously refine our brand voice based on user insights.

• Act as a bridge between marketing and product to ensure consistency in voice and tone.

• Shape and align messaging, campaigns, and feature launches across Tandem.

• Define value propositions that make Tandem’s features feel relevant, desirable, and drive conversions within our Tandem Pro subscription offering.

• Collaborate with product and design to plan, test, and iterate on onboarding flows, paywall experiences, and upsell journeys.

• Build, optimize, and manage CRM lifecycle journeys, with a focus on sharing our story across onboarding, upselling, win-back, and reactivation flows.

• Drive monetization through high-impact CRM campaigns and lifecycle offers tailored to user behavior, intent, and brand story.

• Oversee a team of 9 freelance localisation specialists to ensure timely delivery, brand alignment, and consistency across all supported languages, including web, and app.

• Oversee content creation for our website and monitor site performance via Google Search Console and Analytics.

• Lead content strategies to guide how AI tools and search engines perceive Tandem, working closely with our Marketing Manager and content writer.

• Are a native English speaker with exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills.

• Have an incredible sense for storytelling and a very creative mindset to add to the team.

• Have 5+ years of experience in app marketing, with a focus on product marketing, growth, or brand.

• Thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy connecting dots between marketing, product, and design.

• Have a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable digging into data to guide decisions.

• Are confident managing CRM systems (Iterable experience is a bonus).

• Understand the nuances of localization and can work across multiple markets.

• Are excited to work in a hybrid setup, combining Berlin office time with remote flexibility.

• Have a passion for languages, cultures, and building global communities.

We’re a team of 30 people speaking 20 languages fluently between us. For those wanting to improve their German (or Denglisch!), you can join one of our German classes on us.

As a Tandem team member, we’ll give you a budget for up to 6 “Deep Dive Days” per year. Pick a topic you’ve always wanted to explore for your professional development that has never made it out of your backlog. Then book a cabin in the woods or whatever matches your individual learning style.
