Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Cybersecurity Researcher (d / f / m)

We are a European leader in cybersecurity for defence and aerospace assets and systems, with over 450 cyber professionals across France, Germany, the UK, and Spain. Our mission is to develop tailored cybersecurity products and solutions for defence, government, and institutional clients, supporting them throughout the system lifecycle.

This role offers flexible working hours and scope, including options for part-time engagement.

Our main location in Ottobrunn / Taufkirchen is near Munich, Bavaria's capital, with access to outdoor activities in the Alps and Lake Starnberg. We also have locations in Ingolstadt, Immenstaad / Friedrichshafen, and Bremen.

• Support virtualization, emulation, and simulation for cyber-physical systems and networks
• Develop models to support simulation and emulation
• Create scenarios for training, integration, and testing of virtualization, simulation, and networks

• Postgraduate degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field; PhD preferred
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python) and experience with cyber-physical simulation environments are advantageous
• Experience with experimental verification, validation, and simulation environment development is beneficial
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent English communication skills
