Your responsibilities
As Asset Engineering Lead (AEL) for the Gas Cluster Customer Power Plants within Gas Engineering and Outage (E&O), you are responsible for the cross-discipline coordination of all identified E&O activities at the Assets within that Cluster. In doing so, you will ensure the agreed engineering & outage strategies are being delivered as envisaged. The needed engineering expertise and resource will be provided by the E&O discipline teams or outsourced where applicable but will support and comply with the Customer Plant arrangements with RWE.
You will work closely with the various asset Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams as well as the Asset Management Partner (AMP) and the wider E&O Teams to improve technical performance, address emergent issues requiring engineering involvement, and support the effective delivery of projects including Outages where required.
You will work closely with other AELs within the wider RWE portfolio gaining an understanding of best practice in role delivery and promoting a continuous improvement approach.
Hybrid working can be considered due to home location but it is expected that the role will require the individual to be at the different assets 2-3 days a week, but could be longer during intense periods (e.g. during outages).
