About the Role:The Design Sales Engineer III (DSE III) role focuses on the pre-sales design of complex technology solutions in support of our partners and sales teams. The DSE III will create technology solutions which meet end-user requirements. The DSE III will collaborate with coworkers and partners, providing pre-sales assistance for sales opportunities which may include delivering product demonstrations for resellers and their end users. In addition, the DSE III will enable reseller partners through the delivery of technical product and offer training. The DSE III will work with vendor partners and internal business development and product management teams on sales opportunities, including the onboarding of new reseller partners. The DSE III will possess strong technical skills, including holding multiple technical certifications, and be able to explain the value of recommended solutions to customers throughout all levels of the reseller and end-user organizations.
What You'll Do:- Delivers custom business-focused technical demonstrations and presentations for resellers and their end customers.
- Provides consultative advice to partners on scoping and designing complex solutions by communicating clearly and concisely with the partner and their end user.
- Designs complex single and multi-vendor solutions and/or configurations which meet customer requirements, driving the sales, design and planning of the solution with the customer.
- Participates in Executive Briefings, Technical Conferences, Trade Shows, Seminars, On-site and Virtual Trainings, and Marketing Events for our reseller and vendor partners as well as sales teams.
- Educates internal and external customers on current technology including roadmap presentations.
- Creates the technical solution response to complex customer RFP and bid documents.
- Meets or exceeds assigned sales productivity goals.
- Stays current on relevant competitive solutions, products, ecosystem solutions and services through attending training and achieving advanced vendor and industry certifications.
- Develops key relationships within vendor and reseller partners and is viewed as a trusted advisor by associates of all levels within the partner.
What We're Looking For:- >8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced Technical Certifications with multiple vendors as well as industry certifications.
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Possesses basic data entry skills.
