    The Engineering, Codes & Compliance Manager will be responsible for all wire & cable applications engineering, including compliance with applicable standards, codes, & regulations, such as CSA, UL, and IEEE, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products in emerging markets that meet specific customer applications and sustainability requirements. They will participate in the development of new products, including product design and testing, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. They will also participate in industry committees and working groups to stay current on industry standards and best practices related to wire and cable.

    Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
    ·Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations, including CSA, UL, and IEEE, as well as customer-specific requirements.
    ·Participate in sustainability initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable product solutions.
    ·Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to provide input on wire and cable applications, including design, testing, and quality control.
    ·Participate in the development of new products, including product design and testing, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
    ·Participate in industry committees and working groups to stay current on industry standards and best practices related to wire and cable applications.
    ·Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders, including answering technical questions and providing product training.
    ·Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical support on wire and cable applications.
    ·Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the wire and cable industry and provide input to the product management team on potential new product opportunities.
    ·Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing collateral and other support materials, including product data sheets, brochures, and technical white papers.

    Qualifications and Experience Requirements

    ·Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    ·Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
    ·Knowledge and experience with applicable standards, codes, and regulations related to wire and cable applications, including CSA, UL, and IEEE, as well as customer-specific requirements.
    ·Experience with sustainable product development, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable product solutions.
    ·Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional technical teams to provide input on wire and cable applications, including design, testing, and quality control.
    ·Experience participating in the development of new products, including product design and testing, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
    ·Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to wire and cable applications, including participation in industry committees and working groups to stay current on emerging trends and technologies.
    ·Excellent technical support skills, including the ability to answer technical questions, provide product training, and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
    ·Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the wire and cable industry, and the ability to provide input to the product management team on potential new product opportunities.
    ·Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing collateral and other support materials, including product data sheets, brochures, and technical white papers.
    ·Written and verbal fluency in English & French languages would be an asset
    ·Requires up to 25% travel
