A recognized healthcare provider in Ontario, Canada is seeking a skilled individual for a paraprofessional role to provide personal care to patients in their residences. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be a Certified Nurse Aide, and possess strong communication and customer service skills. Previous experience as a Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide is preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary, along with excellent time management skills.

A paraprofessional person who is specifically trained, competent and performs assigned functions of personal care to the patient in their residence under the direction, instruction and supervision of the registered nurse and the Home Health/Hospice Supervisor.
Education: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent. Completion of CNA or HH AIDE training course which meets the Conditions of Participation for Home Health Aide training and competency > 75 hours training.
Experience: Previous Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide experience preferred.
Required skills: Excellent time management skills. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to carry out directions and read and write. Maturity and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the position. Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Required Licensure: Certified Nurse Aide license
