Zusammenfassung
A school district in Canada is seeking a Noontime Supervision Assistant at Dunsmuir Middle School. This temporary position requires providing supervision during non-instructional time, attending to student needs, and managing clean-up routines. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 education, relevant experience, and a valid Occupational First Aid certificate. The hourly rate is $28.26.
Qualifikationen
- Three months of relevant experience is essential.
- Ability to follow school district policies and procedures.
- Holder of a valid Occupational First Aid – Level One Certificate.
Aufgaben
- Assist administration in duties related to student supervision.
- Dispense first aid and attend to children in the sick room.
- Manage lunch, snack, and clean-up routines.
- Assist children with clothing as needed.
- Perform bus loading and unloading duties.

Ausbildung
ONE POSITION FOR DUNSMUIR MIDDLE SCHOOL.
FIVE HOURS PER WEEK. THIS HOUR CANNOT BE BUNDLED WITH AN EDUCATION ASSISTANT POSITION.
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
- Three months of experience and over.
- Patience with, and care for, students and a demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
- Ability to follow school district policy and procedures.
- Be able to follow school “Code of Conduct” and reinforce the values to children.
- An ability to work well with other adults.
- A desire to help children.
- Self-assurance and a well modulated voice with the ability to speak fluently and communicate well.
- Appreciation of the confidential nature of all information relating to students, parents and teachers.
- Holder of a valid Occupational First Aid – Level One Certificate.
Principal
To assist in providing a well organized, supervised school environment in which students can take full advantage of their non‑instructional time.
- Assists administration in duties relating to supervision of students during non-instructional time.
- Dispenses first aid and tends to children in sick room.
- Responsible for lunch, snack and clean‑up routines.
- May assist children with clothing and dressing as required.
- Performs related work as required such as bus loading and unloading.
Ten months. Hours may vary but work is required only when students are at school.
RATE OF PAY AS PER THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT. HOURLY RATE OF PAY IS $28.26.
DUTIES TO COMMENCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND WILL CONCLUDE UPON THE RETURN OF THE INCUMBENT OR UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED BY THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT.
