Travel Industry Bilingual Sales Representative

Working in a supportive team environment, this position is responsible for growing revenues from Quebec and the Ottawa region, focusing on leisure accounts (travel agency networks). The successful candidate will use their network and industry knowledge to create new revenue opportunities while managing existing relationships with member agency partners.

This role involves balancing in-person sales calls with in-house support for member agencies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain and grow the defined territory through in-person, virtual sales calls, and email support.
• Provide inside sales support to the travel industry, including handling requests via an online customer service desk.
• Participate in industry events, tradeshows, and other activities as appropriate.
• Coordinate the implementation of preferred travel agency partner programs.
• Maintain a current travel agency database by geographic area.
• Administer the travel agent Free Day program and other incentive or commission programs.
• Deploy seasonal coupon runs and e-coupons as needed.
• Support the update of a travel industry newsletter sent to the existing travel agent database.
• Assist with administrative activities or support the sales team as needed.
• Conduct background sales research, liaise between field sales and internal operations, and assist sales and marketing projects.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

• Bilingual in English and French.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Travel, or Tourism.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of the tourism industry is an asset.
• Experience in sales or marketing coordination is beneficial.
• Own a car and hold a valid, clean driver’s license.
