• Receive merchandise, separate by category, inspect quality, check volume, and direct products to the cold chambers of the Butchery department;
• Check refrigeration as needed (cooled or frozen);
• Separate products by category, package, and label cut and ground products for display;
• Transport fractionated products and ensure replenishment of display counters or freezers and self-service islands, replacing cut, packaged, and labeled meats for sale;
• Attend to customers at the counter, performing deboning, grinding, cutting, and slicing of various types of meat, weighing and organizing on trays according to established standards and/or customer preference - suggesting consumption options and offers;
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining order and cleanliness in the Butchery department, preparation room, equipment, and display counters, avoiding accidents and proliferation of insects and bacteria.

• Minimum academic background: complete high school education;
• Age range: minimum 18 years;
• Experience: proven experience in the Butchery function, with knowledge of traditional and special meat cuts, meat cleaning, and counter service.
