We're currently seeking full‑stack developers to join our engineering team, with a strong emphasis on deep WordPress and modern JavaScript experience.
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our global engineering team. This position focuses on backend development — building and optimizing custom WordPress plugins, APIs, and integrations for large‑scale, high-performance websites.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of WordPress internals, experience working with enterprise clients, and a strong understanding of scalable, maintainable code.
- Design and develop custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch using PHP, MySQL, and modern best practices.
- Implement advanced custom fields (ACF), custom post types, and taxonomies for structured data management.
- Optimize database queries and improve performance across complex WordPress sites (meta queries, caching, indexing).
- Integrate WordPress with third‑party APIs and automation tools (REST, webhook systems, Make/Zapier, Algolia, etc.).
- Develop and maintain cron jobs, background tasks, and data synchronization scripts.
- Build and maintain Gutenberg blocks or React‑based admin components when required.
- Ensure sites meet performance, accessibility, and SEO standards (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA, design) following Agile practices.
- Write clean, well‑documented, and unit‑tested code following OOP principles and WordPress coding standards.
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience, focusing on backend and custom plugin work.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress hooks (actions & filters), custom queries, and optimization strategies.
- Proficient in ACF, CPT UI, Gutenberg, and WooCommerce.
- Solid understanding of WordPress REST API, webhooks, and API integrations.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance optimization, caching mechanisms, and scalable WordPress architectures.
- Advanced written and spoken English (international client communication required).
