Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a bridge between HR and the business by aligning people strategies with the overall business goals while providing HR expertise to business leaders and teams throughout Latin America (LATAM). The HRBP plays an integral role on the HR team and the Sao Paulo office as the main point of contact for HR-related matters within the LATAM region.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that address business needs and support growth.
- Ensure HR practices are in sync with the company’s overarching strategy.
Policy, Process & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with legal regulations and internal policies.
- Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure standards like GDPR are met.
- Research and recommend updates to policies and procedures in support of business evolution.
Talent Management
- Support workforce planning and advise managers on HR matters.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to fulfill recruitment needs.
- Strengthen talent programs focusing on performance, career growth, and succession planning.
- Promote employee engagement with career development and LMS platforms.
- Lead annual compensation and merit reviews, providing strategic guidance.
- Align benefits strategy with market competitiveness and company culture, in partnership with Finance.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain accurate HR data in global HRIS systems.
- Analyze trends to inform business decisions and track key HR metrics, including ESG data.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Support sensitive matters such as performance plans and organizational changes.
- Promote a fair, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture through events, ERGs, and recognition programs.
Change Management
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives.
- Coach leaders and staff through transitions to ensure smooth adaptation to new processes and technologies.
- Act as a change advocate by aligning leadership and providing continuous support.
Education / Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Generalist HR experience providing advice, guidance and coaching to employees and senior leaders with the ability to influence and develop strong business partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related degree from an accredited college or university.
- Professional working proficiency in the English language, both in written and verbal form.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams) and office equipment. Ability to learn new applications is required.
- Experience with metrics and reporting is highly advantageous.
- Experience working for a progressive, high-tech company is preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in the Spanish language is preferred.
- Experience with SAP Success Factors HRIS is preferred.
- Experience working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to build trust across all organizational levels.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, including benefits, compensation, leave management, and talent development.

Other:
- The ability to travel up to 15% within Latin America and North America.
- This is a hybrid position out of the Sao Paulo, Brazil and home office location, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the Sao Paulo office.
