A global data services company is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor aligning HR practices with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in HR, expertise in labour legislation, and a strong focus on talent management and employee engagement. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to drive organizational change while ensuring compliance with HR policies. The position is based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Qualificações

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Strong knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience with talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations and change management.

Overview

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR practices with business objectives. This role supports organizational effectiveness by driving talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, and change initiatives, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour legislation. Their primary focus is to deliver a consistent and high‑quality HR generalist service to the business and ensure that all tactical implementation happens in line with agreed timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all HR matters.
  • Engage and consult with the business to support implementation of HR focus areas.
  • Support talent management, succession planning and workforce planning with a transformation lens.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to improve business performance.
  • Identify process and policy improvements and ensure HR policies are consistently applied and compliant with labour laws.
  • Implement and review HR projects while building internal and external networks with HR COEs, line managers and service providers.
  • Advise business lines on people-related issues (people, capabilities, organisation, leadership, culture) and champion DEI initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, moderation and development planning.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to identify skills gaps and implement training solutions, and build a diverse talent pipeline through talent reviews and succession processes.
  • Drive talent acquisition initiatives to secure suitable talent and influence line managers on appointments, placements and promotions per the organisation’s EE plans.
  • Advise on annual salary increases, incentive and performance bonus processes, and on salary benchmarking and equity.
  • Provide feedback on exit interviews and implement retention tools such as career counselling and settling‑in interviews.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, culture transformation and digital HR adoption, acting as a change agent to minimise resistance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Strong knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
  • Critical behaviours: Strategic thinking & execution, change management, influencing & negotiation, data‑driven decision making, cultural sensitivity & inclusion, teamwork.
  • Key technical skills: Strategic thinking, business acumen, excellent communication & influencing abilities, strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, problem‑solving & conflict resolution, proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations and change management.
