Director of Sales

Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experiences to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, building strong relationships and creating bonds with your guests.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure implementation of all Sales-related Policies & Procedures and adhere to company and hotel policies & procedures.
• Develop, implement, maximize, monitor, and evaluate objectives, strategies, and activities of the Sales Department to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food & Beverage, and all hotel-related revenue streams (e.g., Apartments).
• Ensure that an effective and efficient day-to-day acquisition program, including an administration reporting system, is organized and deployed.
• Solicit group, transient, and/or banquet business to consistently achieve sales objectives.
• Establish parameters, quote, negotiate prices, and seal contracts.
• Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events.
• Maintain accounts, contact activity, and business details.

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills include:
Relevant sales experience is an asset.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Highly responsible & reliable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
