Purpose:
Responsible for producing high-quality multimedia content, including video production, editing, and content creation. This role requires a blend of storytelling, technical expertise, and a keen eye for visual composition to bring ideas to life across multiple platforms.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

1. Video Creation:

• Capture high-quality video footage using professional camera equipment.
• Create engaging motion graphics and animations to enhance video content.
• Ensure consistency in visual elements, typography, and color schemes across different digital channels.
• Collaborate with creative teams, including designers, videographers, and copywriters, to develop high-quality visuals and written content.
• Familiarity with social media content trends and best practices.

2. Video Production and Editing:

• Edit and enhance video footage to create polished and visually appealing content.
• Apply color correction, sound design, transitions, special effects, and animations as needed.
• Optimize video content for different platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
• Incorporate and sync audio elements, including background music and voiceovers.
• Ensure correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for publishing across all platforms.

3. Content and Storyboard Creation:

• Develop compelling storyboards and visual concepts for video projects.
• Write and refine scripts that align with the creative vision and objectives.
• Research industry trends and audience preferences to craft impactful content.
• Work closely with the media production and marketing teams to ensure storytelling aligns with brand goals.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and digital touchpoints.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align storytelling objectives and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Communicate design concepts, rationale, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

5. Industry and Design Trends:

• Stay updated with the latest design trends, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
• Continuously improve design skills and share knowledge with the team.
• Apply best practices in digital media, including social media content creation.

Position Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor s degree in Media Production, Film, Communication, or a related field.

Certifications:

• Certified Video Editor from a recognized institution
• Storyboarding and Screenwriting Certification

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in video production, editing, and content creation
• Minimum 3+ years of experience using DaVinci Resolve

Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
• Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English

Analytical & Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of storytelling, composition, and pacing
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Rush, Photoshop)
• Experience in camera operation, lighting, and sound recording
• Familiarity with video editing, 3D modelling, and sound design
• Experience in motion graphics and animation
• Basic knowledge of photography and graphic design
