Job summary

Qualifications

About the role

RAKBANK is hiring a Vice President - Digital Product Owner, reporting to the Executive Vice President, Head of Digital Channels. You will lead cross‑functional squads across Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing, delivering customer‑centric digital journeys.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Own and execute the CASA Transformation roadmap aligned to business goals and customer needs.
  • Define and prioritize backlogs, craft user stories, and set acceptance criteria within agile frameworks.
  • Elevate CX through UX/UI‑led journey design and platform optimization across digital and staff‑facing channels.
  • Enhance channels, features, and capabilities to grow CASA and boost conversion.
  • Track KPIs, analytics, and feedback to inform iterative improvements.
  • Lead an agile squad (devs, designers, analysts, testers), owning product decisions, sprint planning, and timely, compliant delivery.
  • Report progress, risks, and outcomes; champion the customer’s voice via data‑driven insights.
  • Partner with Risk and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements and sound risk practices.
  • Scan market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging tech to drive personalization and advisory capabilities.
  • Deliver sustainable performance: improve originations, shorten time‑to-investment, increase STP, reduce cost‑to‑acquire/serve, and enable cross‑sell/upsell—supporting P&L targets.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Business or Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems.
  • Desirable Certifications - CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, Agile/Lean, Design Thinking.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in product management, digital transformation, or agile delivery, including 5+ years in a senior Product Owner or leadership role within an agile organization.
  • Industry: Digital product management in Banking and/or established FinTech.

  • Agile Delivery Leadership: Deep expertise in Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban frameworks to drive agile transformation.
  • End-to-End Product Ownership: Managing the full product lifecycle from ideation through release and continuous optimization.
  • Backlog & Collaboration Tools: Proficient in Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence for sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Customer Journey Design: Skilled in mapping and optimizing digital experiences for clients and advisors.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Advanced use of Google Analytics, Power BI, and Tableau for KPI tracking and behavioral insights.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Leading diverse teams to deliver strategic and operational mandates effectively.
