Job Title: General Manager (GM) – Wet Wipes Manufacturing

Location: UAE

Salary Package: AED 15,000 – 20,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. The GM will be responsible for overseeing the entire factory operations, driving business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and expanding our market presence internationally. This role demands a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing experience and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the factory’s overall performance and results.
• Supervise the Operations Manager and ensure manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and quality functions run efficiently.
• Make critical executive decisions affecting operations, finances, and business continuity.
• Act as the final escalation point for departmental issues.

• Develop and implement medium- and long-term strategies to drive company growth.
• Identify new business opportunities and diversification options within the hygiene and personal care segment.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures across all departments.

• Collaborate with the Sales Team and Sales Manager to align production with sales targets.
• Drive local and international business expansion by onboarding distributors and partners.
• Lead initiatives to increase product visibility and market penetration globally.
• Work with marketing teams to strengthen branding and digital presence.

• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and global partners.
• Identify untapped markets, industry trends, and opportunities to introduce new SKUs or private-label products.
• Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events worldwide.

• Ensure alignment between production, logistics, quality, and sales teams to meet delivery timelines and customer satisfaction.
• Support R&D initiatives in product formulation and packaging innovations.
• Review and optimize internal SOPs, ensuring GMP and HACCP compliance.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 5–7 years in factory or plant management; FMCG, hygiene, or wet wipes manufacturing experience is essential.
• Proven track record in business development and international sales or exports.

Background:

• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience running or scaling operations.
• Hands-on experience in all aspects of factory operations, including production, QA/QC, and supply chain.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent decision-making and crisis management capabilities.
• Ability to manage growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic, French, or Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• Familiarity with international compliance and export regulations.
• Skilled in identifying trends, launching new products, and handling brand positioning.
