Job summary
A leading construction firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to oversee daily site operations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil infrastructure construction, particularly in bridge projects. This full-time role focuses on ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance on site.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil infrastructure construction.
- At least 3 years in bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day construction activities.
- Allocate resources including manpower and materials.
- Ensure work adheres to approved drawings and specifications.

We are seeking an experienced and handson Civil Foreman to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction project you will be responsible for supervising daily site operations ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Oversee and coordinate daytoday construction activities on site focusing on civil and structural works
- Allocate resources effectively including manpower materials and equipment to meet project requirements
- Ensure construction work adheres to approved drawings specifications and method statements
- Monitor productivity progress and quality of work taking corrective actions when necessary
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations company policies and local building codes
- Communicate effectively with engineers site supervisors subcontractors and workers
- Maintain accurate daily site reports work diaries and labor attendance records
- Assist in planning construction sequences and provide technical guidance to the crew
- Identify and report site issues or risks promptly to site engineers or project managers
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the worksite at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant trade certification
- Minimum of 57 years of experience in civil infrastructure construction with at least 3 years in bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE
- Strong understanding of formwork rebar concreting earthworks and bridge erection techniques
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Municipality and local construction site requirements
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation
- Solid knowledge of construction health and safety standards
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi / Urdu is a plus
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Goaloriented approach to project management and task completion
