Job summary
A leading culinary establishment in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef who can create innovative desserts and baked goods. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fast-paced kitchens and possess strong knowledge of baking techniques and food hygiene standards. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200 AED. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in reputable restaurants or hotels.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and recipes.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create new and innovative desserts to refresh the menu and attract customers.
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, pastries, pies, tartlets, mousses, soufflés, and custards.
- Ensure all desserts are prepared promptly and meet high-quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels for baking ingredients and other supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop recipes based on customer preferences.
- Manage food costs and modify recipes as needed while maintaining quality.
