Charterhouse is currently partnered with a distinguished global Family Office looking to strengthen its Investment Technology Division. This division is responsible for developing analytical platforms, data-driven tools, and technology-enabled capabilities that support investment teams, operational functions, and enterprise wide strategic decision making. With a remit that spans across Data Science, Engineering, Quantitative Research, and Product Development, the division plays a pivotal role in evolving the organisation’s digital and analytical landscape. Our client is looking to hire for a Senior AI Scientist who will be a key contributor to the organisation’s data and product initiatives.
The Senior AI Scientist will oversee the data-driven initiatives, leading the design and implementation of data workflows aligned with business needs. This role emphasizes leadership in data analysis, constructing robust pipelines for model training and monitoring model performance, as well as building and maintaining data management platforms. In addition, the role will leverage expertise in utilizing LLMs and prompt engineering to enhance insights and model performance.
The successful candidate should hold a Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A strong foundation in data modelling, statistical analysis, and applied research methods is essential. Exposure to investment management, finance, or other quantitative industries is advantageous. Demonstrated contributions to data-driven projects, internal research, or published work showcasing technical expertise and leadership will be highly regarded.
Our client is looking for candidates who have an understanding of AI frameworks such as PyTorch, DeepSpeed or Hugging Face. Knowledge of LLM technologies such as SFT, RL, Pretrain & Agent is essential. The ideal candidate will be expected to have hands‑on experience fine‑tuning and deploying LLMs with a focus on optimization and will be expected to be proficient with NLP (Natural Language Processing) techniques and algorithms. Strong English communication is essential for this role.
