Join our Compression Regional Service Sales team within Siemens Energy TI Compression as a Client Manager.
In this role, you will support over 100 customers across the Oil & Gas, chemical, and industrial sectors, focusing on their service requirements for compressors. You will be involved in exciting and challenging service and modernization projects within these industries.
This position requires a highly networked approach, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Strong people management and commercial skills are essential to ensure flawless execution of all tasks.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Proactively prospect the compression service market to generate new leads and opportunities. Represent Siemens Energy in pre-contract negotiations with customers.
- Perform forecasting, reporting, and win-loss analysis, and achieve annual sales targets for the Compression service business within your designated country or customer base.
- Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline in Salesforce to support sales targets, and meet quarterly and yearly order entry goals.
- Develop sales capture plans and strategies tailored to each customer, considering their needs, equipment applications, Siemens Energy's strengths, competitors’ weaknesses, and market pricing strategies.
- Understand customer evaluation and decision-making processes to position Siemens Energy favorably against competitors.
- Manage opportunities effectively via CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and regular updates for management review.
What You Bring
- Proven sales success in compression or rotating equipment services, with experience in complex market environments and growth strategies.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years in the energy industry and at least 5 years in sales or business development roles.
- Knowledge of turbomachinery and industrial compressors is mandatory; strong technical understanding preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, capable of discussing technical and commercial topics.
- Ability to work independently, interact across all organizational levels, and possess strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills focused on technical differentiation and value selling.
