About the Role

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of generator systems, working on meaningful projects that directly impact Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver reliable energy solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse teams, contributing to system optimization, and enhancing client satisfaction through meticulous commissioning activities. Expect a dynamic team culture that values adaptability, cultural openness, and a commitment to excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Execute instrumentation and control commissioning activities for assigned systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.
  • Optimize control systems and troubleshoot issues, coordinating effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Adhere to site regulations, environmental health and safety requirements, and permit‑to‑work procedures.
  • Act as an Electrically Skilled Person to maintain safe working conditions on‑site.
  • Engage in system walk‑downs and handover processes, signing the Erection Clearance Certificate and contributing to the List of Open Points (LOP).
  • Develop instructions for handling abnormal situations and prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation.
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or control engineering, or equivalent experience, ideally with prior international site experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support documentation and communication tasks.
  • Strong command of English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
  • High willingness to travel and reside abroad for extended periods, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
  • Self‑sufficiency, independence, and a quality‑oriented mindset to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, adaptability, and openness to diverse cultures, fostering a collaborative work environment.
