Job summary
A leading healthcare organization in Dubai seeks a highly skilled NICU Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill or premature newborns. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, at least 2 years of NICU experience, and certification in BLS and NRP. Responsibilities include direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the lives of newborns and their families positively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU or neonatal critical care experience.
- Valid nursing license from home country.
- Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns.
- Monitor and assess neonates’ vital signs.
- Operate and monitor advanced neonatal life-support equipment.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and education to families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
