Job summary
A leading service provider for diesel engines in Dubai is looking for a technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engine systems at customer locations. The role requires a degree in Automotive Engineering and at least 3-4 years of experience with diesel engines. Applicants must have a driving license and be willing to assist senior technicians while ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.
Qualifications
- Experience of at least 3-4 years working with diesel engines.
- Driving license required.
- Field experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on engine and fuel systems.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
- Install fuel system components at customer sites.
Skills
Education
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on engine and fuel systems at customer locations.
- Assist in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues related to engines and fuel systems.
- Install fuel system components and engines at the customer site.
- Assist senior technicians with tasks and service requirements.
- Ensure all service activities are documented accurately in service reports and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide customer support and communicate effectively to explain issues and recommended solutions.
- Maintain and clean service tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems in engine performance or fuel systems, along with senior technicians.
- Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition, performing regular checks and cleaning.
- Overtime to be carried whenever required.
- Any other responsibilities or scope as and when instructed by the Field Service Team Lead or Workshop Manager
- Qualifications - Degree in Automative Engineering or relative field experience must.
- Additional Qualifications - Driving License is must
- Candidate must be experienced atleast 3-4 years of experience in Deisel engines, heavy machinery equipment.
