A leading service provider for diesel engines in Dubai is looking for a technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engine systems at customer locations. The role requires a degree in Automotive Engineering and at least 3-4 years of experience with diesel engines. Applicants must have a driving license and be willing to assist senior technicians while ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.

Job description

The Role

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on engine and fuel systems at customer locations.
• Assist in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues related to engines and fuel systems.
• Install fuel system components and engines at the customer site.
• Assist senior technicians with tasks and service requirements.
• Ensure all service activities are documented accurately in service reports and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Provide customer support and communicate effectively to explain issues and recommended solutions.
• Maintain and clean service tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems in engine performance or fuel systems, along with senior technicians.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition, performing regular checks and cleaning.
• Overtime to be carried whenever required.
• Any other responsibilities or scope as and when instructed by the Field Service Team Lead or Workshop Manager

Requirements

• Qualifications - Degree in Automative Engineering or relative field experience must.
• Additional Qualifications - Driving License is must
• Candidate must be experienced atleast 3-4 years of experience in Deisel engines, heavy machinery equipment.
