Job summary
A logistics company in Dubai is seeking a Freight Operation Supervisor to coordinate and manage air cargo operations. Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and liaising with airlines and freight forwarders. Ideal candidates should have experience in cargo handling and a strong understanding of aviation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, handling, and dispatch of air cargo.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify cargo documentation (AWB, manifests, customs forms).
- Ensure compliance with IATA, UAE GCAA regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines, and ground handling teams.
- Inspect cargo for damage, security, and proper packaging.
- Manage cargo inventory in the warehouse and update records.
