Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a client in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in warehouse activities, specifically within the oil and gas sector, and preferably with experience on ADNOC projects. Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, overseeing material logistics, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and fluency in English are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse activities, particularly within the oil and gas sector.
  • Experience with EPCM oil and gas companies required.
  • Preferably experience on ADNOC projects.

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 2 years

Qualification and Experience Required
  • 7 years of experience in Warehouse activities within Oil and gas sector.
  • EPCM Oil and gas companies experience is a must.
  • Experience with ADNOC project is highly preferred.
  • Requiring maximum one month notice.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Fluent English communication skills are essential.

  • Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation, to ensure efficient operations and a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper records to meet project needs.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices in warehouse operations to comply with industry regulations and promote a culture of safety.
  • Manage the inbound and outbound logistics of materials, coordinating with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Conduct regular inspections of received materials and warehouse conditions to ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and material usage for management review.
