Electrical Engineer jobs in United Arab Emirates

We are hiring a Senior Electrical Designer with strong experience in offshore electrical systems and hands-on proficiency in Smart 3D (S3D). The role requires detailed design work for power and lighting systems cable routing and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in an offshore project environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed electrical layout drawings using S3D including lighting small power grounding cable trays and equipment location plans.
• Create 3D models of electrical systems and ensure clash-free integration with piping structural and instrumentation models.
• Generate cable routing plans terminations and tray fill calculations.
• Prepare drawings and documentation in accordance with Saudi Aramco offshore standards and international electrical codes.
• Participate in model reviews interface meetings and resolve design conflicts.
• Support material take-offs (MTOs) and as-built updates as needed.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• 8-15 years of experience in electrical design for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Proficiency in Smart 3D (S3D) is mandatory.
• Experience in Saudi Aramco offshore projects is preferred.
• Solid understanding of offshore electrical systems and equipment layouts.
• Ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams interconnection drawings and vendor data sheets.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to support interdisciplinary collaboration.
