Job description

We are currently searching for a junior Mechanical Engineer with the following profile:

  • Having Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • More than 3 years experience in engineering firm in UAE
  • HVAC knowledge
  • Revit mastering
  • Plumbing and Fire protection is a bonus
  • Licensed engineer in UAE mandatory (SoE/Abu Dhabi Engineering license)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers in designing and analysing HVAC systems for various building projects, with a bonus for experience in plumbing and fire protection.
  • Perform Revit/BIM modeling.
  • Assist in load calculations, equipment selection, and system design in compliance with industry standards and codes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and coordination with other disciplines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and optimized design solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a consultancy or design firm.
  • Familiarity with relevant software such as HAP or TRACE.
  • Good understanding of HVAC systems design principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
