We are currently seeking an ambitious UAE National to join our Markets & Securities Services team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

• Implement a global and/or cross-regional operating model, working closely with traders, sales and business heads, and Business Operating sites, to encourage collaboration.
• Deliver new products as required by the business. Obtain internal new product approvals and oversee technical delivery to support the products.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the business to meet customer needs, through partnership with sales and visits with clients where appropriate. Work with support areas to improve client experience and drive client efficiency.
• Ensure the business is provided all support to meet the revenue and cost targets.
• Develop relationships with key members of other Product groups in Global Markets and with key client support segments including Corporate & Institutional Banking, international Wealth & Premier Banking
• Drive technology development plans consistent with global target operating model.
• Identify opportunities to improve the business process and deliver efficiencies.
• Be responsible for the Operational Risk governance and control of the business & the continual assessment of operational risks associated with the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and the impact of new technology.
• Establish the necessary business reporting and intelligence to be the ‘go to’ person on the business and to be able to provide fact-based information and commentary for senior stakeholders and the Management team.
• Be responsible for the efficient and smooth running of day-to-day Trading business including working closely with support infrastructure to ensure an optimal level of support is provided to the global business.
• Drive and encourage constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action.
• Support the business in analysis and implementation of Ad-hoc items such as internal/external third-party management, Model Risk Governance Requirements, Ad-hoc Regulatory requirements etc.
