Duties & Responsibilities

• Advise the business regarding contracts and other commercial documents, including drafting, reviewing, and leading contractual negotiations.
• Good knowledge of local customs, practices, and forms of legal agreements.
• Provide pragmatic risk assessments related to legal risks in contracts.
• Train stakeholders on relevant legal topics.
• Understand corporate governance and advise internal and external stakeholders on best practices, compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Undertake company secretarial work.
• Build internal legal processes.
• Structure the launch of new markets / business lines from a legal perspective.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks within the business and communicate these to stakeholders.

Education & Experience

• Law degree from a top international university. Fluent in English; fluency in Arabic is a plus.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• 4-6 years of experience as a lawyer; experience at an international law firm is a plus.
• UAE corporate law, commercial, or finance experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Business acumen and ability to coordinate teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Methodical work approach with a focus on accuracy.
• Willing to work beyond core hours to meet expectations.
