Qualifications

Responsibility

  • Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, primarily focusing on tech wholesale services, network procurement, IT solutions, marketing, and general procurement (e.g., software installation, licenses, and support).
  • Regulatory Affairs : Handle local and international regulatory matters, including telecommunications licensing, statutory filings, and liaison with regulators.
  • Internal Advisory : Advise teams on contract status, policies, and standards, ensuring alignment with company procedures.
  • Process Improvement : Support the optimization of contracting processes and compliance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Provide legal support across compliance, finance, operations, and business development for regional projects.
  • Documentation : Refine legal templates, playbooks, and training materials; manage contract and agreement archives.
  • Ad-hoc Assignments : Participate in additional projects as required.

Requirements

  • Education :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) in Common Law or equivalent.
  • Bar admission in one of the MENA countries or an international jurisdiction are a plus.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the telecommunications, technology, or related industries. Experience in telecommunications regulatory affairs is a merit.
  • Experience working in multiple jurisdictions across the MENA region is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, especially in the telecom sector.
  • Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in MENA countries, particularly in telecom licensing and compliance.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
