Job description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support the legal team of a leading government-affiliated organization operating in the utilities and infrastructure sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal assistance on a range of matters including regulatory compliance contract review administrative support and internal coordination with operational departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in drafting reviewing and formatting various legal documents including contracts MOUs NDAs service agreements and internal policies.

  • Conduct legal research on local laws sector-specific regulations and compliance requirements relevant to energy water and infrastructure.

  • Support in preparing documentation for tenders licensing and other regulatory submissions.

  • Liaise with internal departments (procurement engineering HSE operations etc.) to ensure alignment and legal compliance in their processes.

  • Maintain organized legal files and document management systems ensuring accessibility and confidentiality.

  • Assist with translation or review of bilingual (Arabic/English) legal documents as needed.

  • Provide support in dispute resolution investigations and regulatory audits.


RequirementsTo be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelor s degree in Law or Legal Studies; a paralegal certification is preferred.

  • 3 6 years of experience working in a legal department or law firm ideally with exposure to public utilities infrastructure or energy-related matters.

  • Knowledge of UAE laws including civil procedures contract law and administrative law.

  • Strong legal drafting and research skills.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is highly preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Prior experience supporting legal functions in government entities or semi-government companies.

  • Familiarity with corporate governance environmental regulations or public-private partnership frameworks is a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation systems.
