Join our rapidly growing OK Franchise business in the capacity of a Trainee Operations Manager Designate!

This position is responsible for managing a group of stores through the various OK Franchise owners and/or managers by providing support and guidance to ensure all goals and objectives set for the region are met. If you are someone with an FMCG Retail background, in a branch management role, we would love to meet you.

Retail

1. Maximise regional profit
2. Maximise sales; identify gaps and opportunities related to product lines
3. Manage and minimise costs
4. Manage and minimise shrinkage
5. Manage and control company assets
6. Monitor and ensure the consistent implementation of company policies, standards, procedures and systems
7. Conduct regular branch visits and inspections
8. Effective use of reports
9. Grow market share
10. Identify gaps and propose business opportunities within the region
11. Ensure service excellence
12. Identify possible revamps of old stores
13. Ensure successful opening of new stores
14. Manage risk within region
15. Ensure effective security implementation within the region

1. Grade 12 certificate
2. Tertiary qualification in retail management or a related field

1. 3-5 years' FMCG retail branch management experience

1. Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer management, merchandising, stock management, cash handling, banking, financial controls, systems, reporting and administration
2. Knowledge of Industrial Relations
3. Understanding of financial principles
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
