Purpose of the role
The focus of this role is to deliver and contribute to the growth of our Business Applications group by helping organisations adopt Microsoft Power Platform at an SME level with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, as well as Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications. Working within a highly progressive and collaborative team consisting of technical and commercial colleagues to deliver services and projects for our clients.
As a consultant within our Power Platform and Customer Engagement function you will play a pivotal role delivering Power Platform and Dynamics 365 projects and driving the success of the capability within Zenzero.
Consultant’s report into the line managers within the Power Platform team for support in providing high quality services to clients and internal business functions.
Primary Duties:
Work with business and technical stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions using Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Communicate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and challenges. Working as part of consultancy projects within high-performing, collaborative teams. Learn and utilize exciting new technologies and how they integrate with the Microsoft Power Platform.
Client Delivery:
Our 365 Solutions Consultants work with customers to understand their unique business challenges and opportunities, driving innovation and collaboration with the newest advancements and features within Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Guiding customers in the end-to-end project lifecycle and ensuring the success of key projects.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Identify pain points and opportunities for process improvement.
Solution Design:
- Create a tailored solution design using Power Platform and Dynamics 365, taking into account the client's specific needs.
- Define the data model, entity relationships, and customisations required.
Application Development:
- Develop custom applications, workflows, and automation using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 modules to align with business processes.
Integration:
- Integrate Power Platform and Dynamics 365 with other systems, such as SharePoint, email, and third-party applications.
- Ensure data flows seamlessly between systems.
User Training and Adoption:
- Train end-users and administrators on how to use the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions effectively.
- Promote user adoption by addressing any concerns and ensuring the solution meets user needs.
Solution Testing:
- Conduct thorough testing of customisations and configurations to ensure they work as expected.
- Identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Solution Deployment:
- Plan and execute the deployment of Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions in the client's environment, monitor and manage the rollout to ensure a smooth transition.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customisations, and processes.
- Ensure that documentation is readily available to the client's team.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain open and clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients and team members.
- Best Practices and Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and Microsoft's guidelines for Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
- Ensure that solutions are compliant with relevant regulations and security standards.
Typical projects and services Include:
- Designing and developing automated and digital processes using power platform
- Solve business process challenges through the use of cloud solutions
- Design and implement new digital pipelines to enable the unification of multiple data sources and build business logic to enable reporting across an organisation
- Performing maturity assessments across our clients’ digital capability, providing guidance on how to better utilise and leverage technology, using your experience and industry best-practices to form recommendations
- Appling advanced Power Platform techniques to solve complex business challenges and answer questions such as how a client could generate more revenue or how they could increase customer satisfaction
