Embark on a rewarding journey with Banana Moon Hatton as an Early Years Nursery Apprentice! This role is designed for enthusiastic individuals eager to begin their career in the field of early childhood education while receiving expert guidance and training through our training provider, Eden.

As an Early Years Nursery Apprentice, you will become an integral part of our dedicated team, providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. This apprenticeship offers you the chance to learn and apply best practices in nurturing children's growth and development in a stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Engage with children and encourage them to express themselves.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment.
  • Work collaboratively with families to foster strong relationships.
  • Observe and record children's progress and contribute to individual development plans.

This apprenticeship offers both practical experience and a pathway to a recognised qualification in early years education.

Qualifications
  • A strong passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Previous experience with children is an advantage but not essential.
  • Must be prepared to undergo a DBS check.
