We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join the finance team of a company in the technology and engineering space. This is for a fixed term contract of 2 - 4 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality, timeous, analysed and accurate monthly reporting submissions, ensuring that the company’s reporting requirements are adequately addressed. This is a full-time in-office fixed term contract position that offers micro flexibility, working Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 16h45.
Reporting to theFinancial Manager you will be responsible for:
- International Financial Reporting Standards
- Accurate and complete financial reporting in accounting software
- Correct tax treatment of financial transactions
- Analysis and investigations on expenses
- Fixed assets management
- Grade 12
- 4 - 5 years’ experience within the customer services environment
- Driver’s license
- English and Afrikaans spoken fluently and written
- Microsoft Office Suite
- ERP accounting package experience and Pastel Payroll
