Job summary
A leading financial recruitment firm in South Africa is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with experience in a JSE Listed Company. The successful candidate will oversee the external group reporting process, manage financial publications, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing annual financial statements and maintaining consolidation journals. Ideal for professionals looking to advance their finance career in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
- Experience working in a JSE Listed Company is required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the external group reporting process.
- Manage all external financial publications.
- Ensure timely completion of all financial publications for JSE and shareholders.
- Prepare statutory annual financial statements for all entities.
- Meet all regulatory requirements for financial statements.
- Act as the Group Financial Technical champion.
- Calculate and propose dividend declarations.
- Control and maintain all consolidation journals.
- Oversee general ledger operations.
