Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant to join a dynamic and professional finance team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, complex environment. This position requires someone confident in handling complex accounting functions, including month‑end close, financial reporting, and tax‑related filings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage full accounting function, including:
    • General Ledger accounting
    • Fixed Assets management
    • Accruals, provisions, and deferrals
    • Month‑end and year‑end closing processes
  • Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Annual Financial Statements
  • File TAX and VAT returns in compliance with legislation
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and administrative organisation
  • Liaise with auditors during internal and external audits
  • Assist with financial planning, analysis, and reporting as needed
  • Work collaboratively with cross‑functional departments to provide financial insights
  • Identify and drive improvements in accounting processes and procedures
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong technical knowledge in:
    • GL accounting
    • Fixed Assets
    • Provisions & accruals
    • P&L and Balance Sheet prep
    • VAT/TAX submissions
  • In‑depth experience with annual accounts preparation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and relevant ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.)
